Schnauza Rappa

Nur auf Englisch:

Hello again, we got inspired by this great song from the Seventies, by the Sugarhill Gang.
Well, we also have the groove and the hip hop necklace, so we decided to present you our version.
No German version here, would be too strange like translating Bavarian to German.

Termiten - termites

Clear case for dogshaming by my kids, the little ones are really tooo much and of course I am always the one who is blamed for all the mischief they are up to. This time they were into woodworking. The problem is that they don't know the difference between a peace of wood from the garden (allowed) or furniture (not allowed.) Conclusion: a gnawd table leg and reprimands by our humans for all of us.
If the two hadn't been born in our presence, we would have thought they are large black termites.

Aurora: We have been bad again
Sissi: And I get reprimanded too.
Alpha: What is she talking about?

Aurora: I was bored
Alpha: Table leg? What?
Sissi: I can't always look after those two.

Alpha und Kabel/ Alpha and cables

Hello, it's me today, Alpha. So our Mom can't tell you about everything we were up to, at least she pretends not to know because not all of it was exactly laudable.
First the good news: We were quite good on dog training camp. Not like two of the other dogs which had to train alone with their humans for some time because they could join the group again. The trainer said that it was always the fault of the humans if the dog doesn't obey and things it is the boss - right you are!
Aurora did the first half of the lesson, full of vim like always, but she walked heel very well and sat down really wonderfully. For letting sit in the basic position - parallel to the human on the left side - you are allowed to walk a circle and she loves to do that.
Then it was my turn and I must say - without wanting to boast - I did everything fine and in an elegant way. "Turn around" is easy for me and in the end the trainer was content with all of us, although she told most of the participants that we were not ready for the exams course. Not to worry, we can make the exam only in fall anyway because we are still too young and if we get bored with the advanced course we will change for further challenges if we consider it appropriate.
Then I had the outing for my cable and cord fetish. Claudia was ironing and I got bored, so I pulled out the plug of the iron cable and I started to nibble on it. Then she noticed and understood why the iron didn't work well on the last part of the blouse.
In the end I was countersurfing in the kitchen with my sister Aurora, treating myself to some chichen which had been set aside for the evening meal - not for us though. Out mother pretended not to notice because she NEVER does stuff like this.

Diablo

Today I have to tell you about Diablo. Unfortunately I didn't meet him personally but he must have been a cool guy and very athletic and surely one of the most elegant and also vain dogs running around.
On the picture you see him as he always jumped into the river.

That's why my humans made a logo for the kennel where he figures, how do you like it?

Acrux

Have a look Acrux-Hugo sent a picture with new hair cut. His human built a special construction in order to give him a nice style: table with a nonslip layer and several hooks because he still moves too much - Well, the fidgeting will get better with time. I love it when I get my hair cut, for me it feels like dog massage and I just relax on the table.

Hundewaschanlage - Dog wash it yourself

So when your humans get angry again because they have to clean the bath tub for half an hour after having you inside for cleanup - that's the solution
The SB Dog Wash Self Service

It follows the same system as the car wash it yourself points.
Please note that there are different kinds of shampoos for paws and fur, a conditioner and glow finish (what ever that is, maybe some kind of styling gel) and hairdryers in different levels - for the more delicate and the adventurous dogs. Since my kids like to play with the running vacuum cleaner, I presume we can go for option two.
When we tried it, I will report about it and post some pictures.

Geräusche - Sounds

Liebe Leser,

Dear readers,
have you ever been told that Schnauzers have problems to listen?
No way! It is only that we decide when it seems to have sense to listen or not. So for example, we go for a walk and the kids are pulling at the leash again. A couple of training units are implemented like : sit and then go heel. The kids are being stubborn because they want to go on to the meadow where they can frolic around and the training procedure delays this pleasure. I sit down at once because I know that the humans are even more pigheaded than us and will wait until every one of us has sat down. "I have time. " is what they say.

When the humans get ready for a walk there is no need to tell us to come. Just the metal sound of keys or putting on the shoes is enough to make us dance with joy.

Other example: Opening up the fridge doesn't really mean there is something in for us, opening up a cup of Joghurt or cottage cheese means good news because I am allowed to lick out the rest. When I was breastfeeding there were even entire portions for me.

As you can see, we are neither deaf nor dumb and if there is the possibility of a treat we will all do the twist from the dogdance exercise, no problem. 'Video will follow up as soon as there is a nice ambiance outside as background.

Right now the beautiful snow has gone and when we play we get those ugly mud stains on our black fur. The eye wants it's share, too.
