Alula

 Meine Tochter Alula ist die Kleinste im Wurf, lässt sich aber von keinem der Grösseren was gefallen.
 Wenn es etwas zu entdecken gibt, ist sie immer vorne dran. Furchtlos hat sie sich ins große Schwimmbecken gewagt und inzwischen auch die anderen davon überzeugt dass Wasser im Sommer etwas ganz Tolles ist. Andererseits ist sie auch ein typisches Mädchen: Frisier- und Trimmstunden liebt sie. Das kann ihretwegen ewig gehen und wenn die Anderen an der Reihe sind, mischt sie sich gerne ein und versucht, die ausgekaemmten Haare weiträumig im Garten zu verteilen. Überhaupt ist sie einfach wahnsinnig aufgeweckt und wenn etwas Neues da ist, ist sie sofort dabei. Das kann auch mal das Kissen aus dem Wohnzimmer sein oder der Schuh der nicht als Spielzeug gedacht war.
Wenn sie mal wieder total übertreibt und einen der Jungs ärgert und am Ohr zieht, wird sie von der großen Schwester Aurora oder mir verwarnt. "So geht das aber nicht, nur weil Du die Kleinste bist, kannst Du Dir doch nicht alles erlauben." - sagen wir dann zu ihr. Dann hält sie kurz inne, besinnt sich und legt sich auf den Rücken um mal wieder zu zeigen, dass sie doch eigentlich ganz lieb ist. Oder sie verzieht sich auf mein (inzwischen ramponiertes) Sofa  auf der Terrasse und schaut herunter wie die Queen die auf die nächste Audienz wartet. Langweilig wird es mit ihr nie und auch sie tut alles dafür dass ihr nie langweilig wird. Gelegentlich zieht sie Sachen hervor, von denen nicht einmal meine Menschen wußten, dass sie sie haben. Aber sie läßt sich auch gerne etwas beibringen. Wenn es Input vom Menschen gibt, freut sie sich auch sehr und saugt alles Gelernte wie einen Schwamm in sich auf:
Hundekuchen die in Bäumen und Hecken hängen aufspüren, lernen die verschiedenen Befehle meiner Menschen auszuführen, raffiniert verpackte Hundeüberraschungen aufpacken, Wasserspiele veranstalten - was auch immer, Hauptsache "Action" ist angesagt.

My daughter Alula is the smallest of the puppies but won't take anything from the bigger ones. If there is something to discover, she is always ahead. Fearless she ventured into the large pool and in the meantime she has also convinced the others that water in summer is a fine thing. On the other hand she is a typical girlie: She loves beauty and hair treatment. That could go on endlessly for her and when it is the other's turn she likes to mingle and spread the combed out hair in the whole garden. She is just extremely astute and ready for anything new. That could be also the cushion from the living room or a shoe which wasn't meant to be a toy.
Sometimes, when she exaggerates too much in bothering the boys, tearing their ears, her bigger sister Aurora and me, we caution her and say something like " No way behaving this mean, just because you are the smallest, you can't indulge yourself in anything." Then she stops to think and lays down on her back to show that she is a sweet little girl, really. Or she edges away to my (now wholly damaged) couch on the terrace and looks down from there like a queen waiting for the next audience. You will not get bored with her and she, too, does everything in order not to get bored. Sometimes she comes up with stuff which my humans didn't even know they had. 
But she also likes to be taught things. If there is input from the humans she is very happy and absorbs all knowledge like a sponge.
Find dog cookies which hang in trees and hedges, learn the different commands, open elaborately packed parcels, arrange water games, anything "action" il welcome.

Vorstellung Adharal - Presentation Adharal

So, jetzt muss ich Euch doch auch mal die Kleinen einzeln vorstellen. Adharal wurde früher Alligator genannt da er vielleicht der Vorlauteste ist (wer ist schon schüchtern?) Adharal war der Erste der sich aus der Welpenkiste wagte. Man sieht also, schon im zartesten Alter war er bereit, Gefahren einzugehen um Neues zu entdecken. Neues bedeutete in diesem Fall das Sofa das vor der Kiste stand. Mit seiner ganz eigenen Technik: Sobald er auf die Kante gekrabbelt war, verlagerte er sein ganzes Gewicht nach vorne und rutschte so langsam auf das Sofa hinunter. Einige Zeit war er der einzige Wächter aber irgendwann wurde ihm von seiner Schwester Aurora dabei Gesellschaft geleistet.
Auch hier kann man sehen dass ihn die anderen nicht alleine lassen möchten. Eigentlich sollte er alleine auf dem Foto sein aber die anderen beiden wollten auch im Blitzlicht stehen.
