Frühling im Wiesental/ Spring in Wiesental (meadow valley - just around the corner)

Wie schon unsere Vorfahren, die Schnauzer mit dem schmalen Körper und den spitzen Ohren sagten: Es gibt kein schlechtes Wetter - nur falsche Kleidung - beziehungsweise ein dünnes Fell. Das haben wir nicht, unser Fell wärmt wunderbar und saugt sich auch gerne mit sauberem und schmutzigem Wasser voll. Deshalb sind wir einige Male in die Enz eingetaucht und haben uns danach beim Herumspringen auf der Wiese wieder abgetrocknet. Da gerade Bärlauchzeit ist, wurde noch einiges an Kräutern für das Kräuteröl eingesammelt, bevor es zu spät ist.
Like our ancestors, the schnauzers with the lean bodies and the pointed ears: there is no such thing as bad weather, just wrong outfit - or a very thin fur. We don't have that and our fur keeps us warm and soaks up clean and dirty water. So we also made a couple of dives into the river Enz and got dry running around on the meadow. Since this is the time of wild garlic, we collected some for a delicious scented oil before it is too late.
