Immer noch Baustelle, Hühner und Trimmtische/ Still construction area, chicken and grooming tables

Andromeda berichtet.
Hey Leute, diese Woche war mal wieder etwas Gartenarbeit für uns angesagt, da wir gerade keine Sport- oder Ausstellungsverpflichtungen haben.
Wir haben jetzt auch noch neue Familienmitglieder bekommen - nein, kein Hunde - drei pechschwarze Hühner, damit die auch zu uns passen, wenn wir Fotos machen. Die bekommen jetzt gerade einen schönen großen Stall, momentan müssen sie noch mit dem Provisorium auskommen. Sie sind ganz lustig, machen aber noch nicht so viel Krach wie wir. Der Hahn ist mir sympathisch, der geht auch gerne ins Wasser und planscht immer mit seinen Füßen im Wassernapf rum.
Ich habe schon gesagt, dass die dann auch was zum Spielen brauchen, jedes Tier braucht ja auch ein bisschen Hirntraining, sonst kommt es auf dumme Gedanken. Und warum sollen nur wir Hunde trainieren, gleiches Recht für alle!

Hey guys, this week there is garden work to do, since we don't have any exhibition or sports stuff to do. We have new family members - no, not another dog - three coal black chicken, for doing great picture stuff together. They will get a large house for themselves, but right now they have to live in a temporary hen house. They are funny, don't make as much noise as we do. The rooster is quite my kind of guy, he likes water and always puts his feet in the water bowl.
I already said, that they need something to play with, every animal needs brain training, otherwise they think up nonsense. And why should only we dogs exercise, equal rights for everyone!

Ich schaue mir gerade Videos an um mich zu informieren. Also ich habe schon angemeldet, dass sie auf jeden Fall eine Schaukel und ein Intelligenz-Futter-Spielzeug brauchen. Vielleicht trete ich auch den großen gelben Treibball ab, mit dem will so wirklich keiner von uns spielen. Schaue mal nach, ob ich von meinem Spielzeug etwas abgeben kann, obwohl ich nicht weiß ob sie Interesse an schwarzen Kongs und Zerrseilen haben. Wie Ihr wisst, bekommen wir das meiste Spielzeug klein, deshalb organisieren wir uns auch gerne mal selber Äste und Zweige zum Knabbern.
Anyway, I am watching videos right now in order to inform myself. I already told them that they need a swing and some intelligence-treats-toy. Maybe I will give them our large yellow droving ball, we don't want to play with it anyway. I will have a look, if I can give them some of my toys, although I don't know if they like large kongs and tugging ropes. As you know, we have no problems destroying toys, so we have to organise extra diy stuff like twigs and branches to chew on.

Ich war ja erst kürzlich beim Friseur, aber Claudia muss mich noch trimmen. Allerdings bin ich ja, wie Ihr wisst, ein Wald-, Wiesen- und Wasserhund und lasse mich nicht so gerne frisieren. Ganz anders als Sissi und Alpha, die entspannen sich so auf dem Trimmtisch, dass sie sich breit hinlegen und nur mit Leckerli wieder aufstehen oder hin sitzen, damit man sie ordentlich herrichten kann. Den Trimmtisch mag ich aber auch, da springe ich immer drauf und herunter, Alpha auch. Und dann lassen wir Sissi nicht hochspringen und die macht einen Wahnsinnsterror, bellt auf ihre einzigartige Weise und springt im Kreis rum. (Also wirklich, 9 Jahre alt und hüpft wie ein Welpe...)
Na ja, das ging den Menschen dann doch auf die Nerven und jetzt sind zwei Gartenstühle auf dem Trimmtisch, dann kommt keiner drauf außer er wird gekämmt, getrimmt oder geschoren.
I have been to the groomer a short time ago, but Claudia still has to clip my fur. Actually I am a forest-meadow-water-dog and don't really like to be groomed. Quite a difference from Sissi and Alpha who totally relax on the table and even are difficult to bring to sit and stand, only with treats. I like the grooming table and love to jump on it, Alpha too. And then we both stand there and won't let get Sissi up to it, too. She makes a lot of fuss, barks in her special way and jumps around in circles (Really - 9 years old and jumps around like a puppy, what a nerve!)
Well, this happened a couple of times and now our humans got fed up and but two chairs on the table, so nobody will get up there unless for combing, clipping and shearing.

Wie soll man da frisieren können: Alpha im Entspannungsmodus und Andromeda macht einen Katzenbuckel, bereit zum Absprung, wenn jemand einen Kamm in der Hand hat...
How are you supposed to groom like this? Alpha in full relax mode and Andromeda making a cat's hump, ready to jump when somebody has a comb in his hand..
