Anscheinend schießen sie bei diesem Spiel immer nur auf ein Tor.

Ich glaube so machen wir Deutschen uns im Ausland aber nicht beliebt.

 Jedes Mal wenn mein Herrchen gerufen hat und ich dachte es wäre die Wiederholung kam schon das nächste Tor. Bin total verwirrt.

Als deutscher Bierschnauzer freue ich mich natürlich sehr darüber wie die deutsche Mannschaft gespielt hat.

Erziehung und Lautstärke/ Education and volume

Also, unser Nachbar sagt dass ich viel stolzer geworden bin seit ich Mama bin. Allerdings ist diese Tatsache damit verbunden, dass ich auch einmal lauter werde um meine Erziehung zu bekräftigen. Claudia nennt mich neuerdings Krawallmaus - das war die Bezeichnung eines Hundes in irgend einem Buch. Ich muss sagen, das gefällt mir nicht besonders. Ich tue doch nur mein Bestes um den Kleinen alles was ich weiß ins Leben mitzugeben. Aufgrund des Rabatzes den ich heute veranstaltet habe, wurde mir auch nur das öde Trockenfutter vergönnt, kein rohes Huhn. Die Kleinen wurden gelobt weil sie nach "Sitz" schon fast alle "Platz" gelernt haben und jetzt in die Anweisung "Pfote" eingeführt werden. Fast wurden sie mir als gutes Beispiel vorgeführt. Ich tat zwar mein Bestes um mich noch beliebt zu machen und deutete mithilfe von hypnotischem Blick und ablecken meiner Schnauze an, dass ich noch auf etwas anderes warte (Huhn) , war aber leider nichts zu machen. Um mir meine Laune zu verderben gab es auch noch ein Riesengewitter und das gefällt mir gar nicht. Dabei wurde noch betont, dass ich ja im Haus bin und die Kleinen über Nacht in der Hütte bleiben.

So, our neighbor said that I have become much more proud since I am a mom. This is also tied to the fact hat I have become louder in order to enhance my education. Claudia now calls me the "riot mouse" - a name she got from some book. I must say, I don't like this very much. I just trie to do my best to forward anything I know to my kids. Due to this fuss I kicked up, I just got plain dry food, no raw chicken. The puppies were praised because after "sit", most of them already learned "down" and are now taught the command "paw". Nearly they were cited as role model to me! I did all the best to make myself popular and made them understand with a hypnotic glance and licking my muzzle that I was still waiting for something (chicken), but it couldn't be helped. My spirits got damped even more by a huge thunderstorm which I don't even like at all. And they even enhanced the fact that I am in the house and the kids have to stay in their kennel during night.

Hundekekse - Dog cookies

Am Wochenende gab es Hundekekse, selbst gemacht und frisch aus dem Backofen. Keine Chance dass die schlecht werden. Sind sehr gut bei mir und den Kids angekommen. Klar, waren ja auch lauter Sachen drin die uns schmecken: Fleischstückchen, Quark, Haferflocken und Honig. - Und gesund ist es auch. Honig ist aus dem Garten und schadet unseren Zähnen überhaupt nicht. Sollte eigentlich viel öfter auf dem Speiseplan stehen.
Außerdem hat mich mein Sohn Acrux - Rufname Hugo - besucht. Er wurde stürmisch empfangen und gleich zweimal in den Teich geworfen. Das hat man davon wenn man die anderen alleine lässt.
Ich denke aber, er fand es auch schön, uns mal wieder zu sehen. Wir haben uns sehr gefreut. Alula, die kleine Hexe, hat ihn ganz schön durch den Garten gejagt, aber er weiß sich schon zu wehren. In seiner Welpengruppe geht es wohl nicht ganz so rau zu, die müssen sich erst einmal annähern und sich etwas zurückhalten, man kennt sich ja noch nicht so gut. Ist auch ganz schön, dass er nicht mit allen so ein Draufgänger ist, das kommt vielleicht nicht bei jedem gut an und ich möchte ja, dass meine Kinder immer einen guten Eindruck machen.

This weekend we had homemade dog cookies - fresh from the oven. No chance that they get too old. Me and my kids liked it very much. Sure, all stuff that we really love like peaces of meat cottage cheese, oat flakes and honey - And it is also healthy. Honey is from the garden and isn't bad for the teeth. Should have that more often.
Then my son Acrux - now called Hugo - came to visit. He was boisterously greeted bby everyone and thrown into the pond twice. That for leaving us alone.
I think he was content to see us again. We all were very happy. Alula, the little witch, chased him around the garden, but he knows how to defend himself. In his puppy group they are more gentle, but they still have to get to know each other and keep a low profile, still they are strangers. Fine with me if he isn't so rough with all of them, that doesn't always go down well with everybody and I want my children to make a good impression always.

Die Welpen waren so wahnsinnig schnell unterwegs und Acrux so schnell wieder aus dem Teich, da ist das Foto leider nicht so toll geworden.

Fisch - Fish

Meine Menschen haben festgestellt, dass Hunde wahnsinnig gerne Fisch essen. Tatsächlich lassen sie für eine Fischgräte jeden Knochen liegen. Ob die Welpen schon mit Fischgräten umgehen können .. Lieber pürieren sie den Fisch erst einmal noch. Als gab es heute einen kleinen Fischzwischengang und einer von den frechen Kids hat Claudia doch tatsächlich die Schüssel aus der Hand geschlagen bevor sie sie absetzen konnte. Keine Angst, trotzdem wurde alles aufgegessen und der Boden systematisch abgeleckt.
Die Begeisterung die die Kleinen allgemein fürs Essen aufbringen steigert sich noch um ein Vielfaches wenn sie Fisch riechen. Kann man ihnen ja nicht verübeln. Bei den tollen Nasen kann man sich dem gar nicht entziehen. Vielleicht machen wir demnächst ein paar selbstgemachte Fisch-Hundekuchen. Könnte mir vorstellen, dass das bestimmt gut ankommt - und damit sie nicht sofort verspeist sind und die Spannung noch ein bisschen steigt werden die dann überall im Garten versteckt. Wäre doch gelacht, wenn wir die Welpen nicht wenigstens für eine halbe Stunde beschäftigen könnten.
Sie können das natürlich auch selbst bestens aber manchmal kommt man auch mit Aufräumen kaum hinterher und das "Material" geht aus.

My humans have learned that dogs love fish. Actually they will leave any meat bone for a fish bone. If the puppies already know how to deal with this ... Better not risk it yet, so they prefer to blend it for now. So we had a fish intermezzo and one of my naughty kids hit the full bowl out of Claudia's hands before she had a chance to put it down. Don't worry, they still ate everything and the floor was clean after that.
The enthusiasm the kids show for anything to eat is only beaten by their reaction when they smell fish. You can't blame them for that. What with their large noses it is inevitable. Maybe we will try some homemade fish-dog-cookies now. I guess that will be a hit - and for rising the excitement and consumption time they will be hidden all over the garden. Let's see if we succeed in keeping them occupied for at least half an hour.
Of course they can occupy themselves, too, but sometimes you just can't keep up with their velocity and creativity in finding new toys all invented by themselves and we are running out of material.
