Another Alpha-report about the training:
We requested another slalom last week, so I can exercise myself in it. Aurora already does it quite well, I think this is due to the fact that she can move her butt more flexibly and so is faster in the curves. Then she is also more attentive than I am, I am rather the one who runs ahead. I got better with time, only on the "Frankfurter Kreisel" I was a bit behind, on the other hand I really sped up on the three last obstacles. I also got a bit disctracted by Ilja, the russian terrier who had to practice lying down and waiting near us. In the first curve I looked at him instead of my handler. She then shouted "Hey, I am here, look at me!" - You know sometimes I listen only at the second or third time - still have to practise that. The humans also had to train without us. We were held by the trainer and they had to do the hurdle run alone. This is for the right technique in running and jumping. I asked for my treats anyway. Like, this isn't my fault when you have to practise to run and jump properly, we already do that well naturally.
This is section 1 of the CSC=Combination Speed Cup, a combination of slalom, obstacle run and hurdle run. After this we continued on the other ground - hurdle run with and without dog.
