Wandern mit der PSK Gruppe - Hiking with the PSK Group

Liebe Leute - endlich durfte ich mal wieder mit auf eine Wanderung. Die Kids habe ich daheim gelassen, die laufen schon so viel zu viel herum - und springen wie die Känguruhs.

Ich hatte mich vorher schon einmal erkundigt ob eventuell auch andere Riesenschnauzer mitkommen, damit ich auch jemanden in meiner Größe zum Spielen habe. Leider niemand außer Anca - und die mag mich ja nicht besonders. Weiß eigentlich nicht warum, ich habe ihr noch nie etwas getan ... aber nachdem sie mich immer anfährt, wenn ich ihn ihre Nähe komme, halte ich mich auch von ihr fern. Ich bin ja nicht streitsüchtig. Es gab dann noch einen etwas größeren Pinscher, Diego, mit dem wollte ich auch nicht so recht spielen und dann hing die ganze Zeit Dante, ein frecher Zwergschnauzer, an mir und schnupperte an mir rum - ein richtiger Macho, aber leider zu klein für mich!

My dear guys - finally another hike for me. I left the kids at home because they already run too much there - and jump like cangaroos.

Before I already inquired if there was a chance of another giant schnauzer participating, so there would be someone of my size to play with. Unfortunately nobody beside Anca - and she doesn't like me very much. Don't even know why, I never did anything to her .. but since she has a go at me every time I am near her, I prefer to keep away from her since I don't like quarrels. Then there was a larger pinscher, Diego, I just wasn't in a mood to play with him - and then there was Dante, a cheeky miniature schnauzer who fancied me - unfortunaley too small for me!

da wir noch auf den Rest der Gruppe warteten, habe ich mich ein bißchen hingelegt.
since we waited for the rest of the group, I laid down a bit.

Hier sind wir im Lokal anschließend - hier mit meinem Freund Diego, wir haben sogar das Handtuch geteilt.

Das war die Wanderstrecke - unsere Wanderführer haben eine tolle Strecke ausgesucht und auch noch schönes Wetter dazubestellt.

Alula hat sich gemeldet. Ihr geht es gut und sie gönnt sich und ihren Menschen schöne lange Waldspaziergänge

Alpheratz, der alte Schmeichler hat sich schon bei allen beliebt gemacht. Skyla läßt ihn mal machen, ist ja noch ein Welpe!

Azimut geht es gut.

Er fuehlt sich pudelwohl und macht alles kaputt. Wir nennen das Kollateralschaden, manchmal bleibt das nicht aus.

 Adharal war auf dem Hundeplatz. Wahrscheinlich der Jüngste und Größte 

Adharal was in the dog training camp. Probably the youngest and biggest.

Hier wartet er mit seinen Kumpels auf den naechsten Auftritt.

Acrux geht es leider nicht so gut, er hat sich verletzt und darf momentan nicht rennen. Wir haben ihn besucht und ein bisschen unterhalten.

Aurora und Alpha verteidigen weiterhin Haus und Hof. Aurora spielt genauso gern mit dem Ball wie ich, das ist noch entwicklungsfaehig. Alpha zeigt tolle Anlagen fuer Dog Dance. Ich denke, wir werden so langsam eine gemeinsame Choreografie aufbauen. Naeheres dazu in Zukunft. Ich denke, wir werden das Lied "Happy" nehmen, das passt zu uns.

Aurora and Alpha keep protecting home. Aurora likes to play ball like me, there is still potential. Alpha shows interest for dog dance, I guess we will make a choreography together in the future. More to come soon. I guess we will take the song "Happy", what do you think?

Hundetrainer/ Dog trainers

Liebe Leute, da ist mir ja etwas zu Ohren gekommen das mich total geschockt hat. Ich gehe ja auch öfters zum Training auf den Hundeplatz und meine Kids auch und das tut uns ja auch gut. Man kommt mal wieder raus aus dem Trott, sieht was anderes und lernt nette andere Hunde kennen. Mentaler Input und ein netter Spaziergang sind auch dabei. Jetzt gibt es neben den Vereinen auch noch jede Menge Hundeschulen und Hundetrainer. Die können auch gut sein aber Ihr solltet gleich mal die Ohren spitzen wenn man Euch aufschwatzen will dass Euer Hund analysiert werden muss und erst einmal einige Stunden teures Einzeltraining braucht bevor er zu den anderen Hunden in die Gruppe darf.  Meine Kinder sind nämlich mental total normal und sozial und gut drauf und ich denke, den meisten die das lesen geht es mit ihren Hunden genauso. 

My dear fellows, just happened to hear something that shocked me. I frequently go for exercise on the dog training camp, my kids too, and this is good for us. You get out of the usuall day-to-day routine, see something else and get to know other nice dogs. Mental input and a little walk make part of it, too. Aside from the dog clubs there are also lots of dog schools and dog trainers. They can be good, but perk up your ears when somebody tells you that your dog has to be analysed and needs hours of expensive individual training until he will be allowed in the group with the other dogs. My kids are totally normal, mentally, socially, just love to have fun and I think that most people who read this, can say this about their dogs as well.

Rudelstellungen/ Pack positions

Als ich mich wieder einmal wieder über Meinesgleichen im Internet informierte, wurde ich auf das Thema Rudelstellungen aufmerksam. Was soll das bedeuten? In kurzen Worten: Es gibt eine Hundetrainerin die auch im Fernsehen auftritt und dieses Thema immer wieder einmal anspricht. Wenn der Hund sich in einer gewissen Weise verhält, dann liegt das daran, dass er bei der Geburt als soundsovielter ankam und an der Milchbar dann immer den Stammplatz linksaußen hatte. Ist jetzt ein bißchen salopp formuliert aber ich will da nicht weiter ins Detail gehen. Für mich ist jeder meiner Kleinen einzigartig und wie jeder Mensch bringen sie einen Teil ihres Seins von der Geburt an als Anlage mit, genauso ist meine strenge aber liebevolle Erziehung (unterstützt von meinen Menschen) dafür verantwortlich. Ich kann mich noch genau erinnern, dass Aurora damals die Erste war, die auf die Welt kam. Da sie den Anderen den Weg frei machen mußte, war sie vielleicht auch am Anfang die Größte und Dickste. Sie war aber auch die Dickste und Größte, weil sie ständig an mir dran hing und trinken wollte. Bis heute wird sie nur ungemütlich, wenn sie einer der Anderen beim Fressen stört, das mag sie gar nicht. Um Trinkpositionen hat sie sich aber nie gekümmert, am besten immer da sein wo am meisten Milch rauskommt. Andererseits ist sie wirklich die Sensibelste von allen, wenn man sie zurechtweist, muss man das wirklich ganz vorsichtig machen, sie nimmt es sonst ganz schwer. Tatsächlich gibt es da andere, die viel sturer sind.

When I informed myself about my dog colleagues in the internet, I learned about the pack positions. What does that mean? In short: If the dog behaves in a certain manner it depends on the fact that he arrived like second, third etc when he was born and always had the position on the far left at the milk bar. Just saying, let's not get into details of this horoscope like idea. For me all my kids are unique and like every human they bring part of their being from birth and the rest is conditioned by my severe but amiable education (aides by my humans). I remember well that Aurora was the first one to be born. Since she had to make way for the others, in the beginning she was the largest and fattest. She also was the fattest and largest because she wanted to drink all the time. Until today she gets nervous when disturbed during eating time, she doesn't like that at all. She didn't care about drinking positions, though, always chosing the one offering the most milk. On the other hand she is the most sensitive of all of them, when she is reprimanded, she takes it very hard. In fact there are others who are much more stubborn and resilient.
Anderes Beispiel: Azimut hat immer eine ganz eigene elegante Art, hinzusitzen. Ob er das wohl schon an meiner Mutterbrust geübt hat? Warum macht er das, war er vielleicht immer an den Zitzen in der oberen Etage?
 Alpha ist der Kampfschmuser, der ständig versucht, auf einen Schoß zu kommen und den idealen Bodyguard abgibt und Alpheratz, der kleine Delphin, ist der Charmeur der Gruppe und gleichzeitig total durchtrieben und raffiniert. Acrux ist die Wasserratte schlechthin und gemeinsam mit Alula und Alpheratz bildet er das Trio Infernale das mit Windeseile durch den Garten jagt und sich dann wieder hinwirft um sich auf dem Boden zu wälzen und lustige Töne von sich zu geben. Wenn es mal zu viel wird, sind es Alpha und Aurora, die mich bei der Erziehungsarbeit kräftig unterstützen und die Übermütigen in ihre Schranken weisen. Adharal, ehemals Alligator ist nicht mehr ganz so frech wie am Anfang, auch er rückt den Menschen ganz schön auf die Pelle wenn er mal wieder seine Streicheleinheiten braucht.

Also bitte, hört einfach auf Eure Kleinen, bildet Euch Eure Meinung auch im Gespräch mit anderen Menschen aber hört nicht auf einen einzelnen "Experten", das sind alles keine Gurus und Ihr kennt Eure kleinen Fellnasen am besten!

Another example: Azimut just has this stylish way of sitting. If he already tried at my mother's breast? Why does he do that, did he always use the teats in the upper floor?

Alpha is a ferocious cuddler, he always tries to get in the laps and also an ideal body guard. Alpheratz, the little dolphin, is the charmer of the group and also quite cunning and shrewd. Acrux is a water dog and united with Alula and Alpheratz they form the infernal trio chasing in the garden for a while, then tossing themselves on the ground and uttering funny sounds. If they exaggerate, Alpha and Aurora help with education and indicate that it is time to come to a stop. Adharal, former alligator, is a bit less cheeky than in the beginning, but awfully cuddly when he wants to take his part of caresses.

So please, try to feel what your little buddies want to tell you, make up your minds also talking with other humans but don't listen to a single "expert", these are no Gurus and you are the ones to know your fur noses best!

Alula erzählt - Alula story

So, jetzt komme ich auch mal zu Wort. Meine Mama meint zwar dass ich eigentlich noch zu klein bin - allerdings auch die Vorlauteste und Verwegenste.
Heute habe ich überwacht wie das alte Stroh aus unserer Hütte entfernt wurde.  Dabei musste ich ja genau aufpassen und meine Anwesenheit im Inneren des Gebäudes war dafür dringend erforderlich! Meine Assistenz wurde allerdings nicht genügend gewürdigt. Auch dass ich vorausblickend bereits den kleinen Besen weggetragen habe, wurde nicht mit Anerkennung belohnt. In der Zwischenzeit haben sich meine Brüder im Heu vergnügt. 

Now it is my turn to say something, although my mom says I am still too small - but also the cheekiest and audicious one.

Today I monitored as the old litter was taken from our dog house. I had to pay very much attention and for this my presence inside was mandatory! Nonetheless, my assistance wasn't at all appreciated. Even as I thought well ahead and took away the brush the human lacked the insight for this action. In the meantime my brothers relaxed in the hay.
