Arbeitsteilung/ Work division

So, dieses Mal waren wir beiden Mädels beim THS und Alpha durfte zum Mantrailing. Wir haben einen Shorty gemacht, das ist auch eine tolle Disziplin. Unten bekommt Ihr da auch noch eine kurze Einführung. Aurora war nicht so ganz bei der Sache heute, sie wollte wieder mit den kleinen Hunden "spielen" - na ja eher ein bisschen erschrecken, da musste ich als Mama mal wieder dafür sorgen dass meine Familie sich gut präsentierte. Hat auch ganz gut geklappt. Wir haben dann ein paar Durchläufe gemacht bei denen immer ein Team gegen das andere lief und wir waren nicht die langsamsten. Claudia und ich waren immer total konzentriert beim Laufen und haben uns erst am Ziel umgedreht ob die andere Mannschaft auch schon durch ist. Also, wir waren ein bisschen schneller obwohl unser THS-Experte Alpha nicht dabei war.
So this time it was us two girls doing the tournament sports and Alpha got to go man trailing. We made a "Shorty" great discipline too. -Further down we will give you a short explanation. Aurora wasn't in her best form today, she wanted to "play" with the little dogs - well let's say, terrify them. So I had to save the honor of our family and present myself really well which went ok. We had a couple of runs always one team running against the other and we weren't the slowest! Claudia and me were totally concentrated on our run and just turned around when we arrived at our goal in order to look if the other team made it already. Well - we were a bit faster although our THS expert Alpha wasn't present.

Beim Shorty werden parallel zwei kurze Hindernisbahnen mit Hindernissen aufgebaut. Die beiden Mensch-Hund-Teams starten von zwei Seiten und laufen dann in entgegengesetzte Richtung . Bei einem Wettkampf gibt dann zwei Durchgänge und die Zeiten der beiden Mannschaften werden zusammengezählt und dann durch zwei geteilt. Shorty zählt zum "Breitensport" - das heißt wie beim Hindernislauf ist keine Begleithundprüfung erforderlich, um mitzumachen. Allerdings wird das Ergebnis auch nicht in die Leistungsurkunde eingetragen.

For a shorty there are two parallel obstacle courses. The two human-dog-teams start from two sides and run in opposite directions. During the tournament there are two runs and the times of the two teams will be added and then divided by two. Shorty is "mass sports" and that means - like in obstacle run -  there is no need to have passed the companion dog exam
