Zum Thema Obedience PSK DM 2016/ Subject: Obedience PSK German Mastership 2016

Hier mal wieder ein Sachthema von den Menschen/ Topic by the humans again:

Wir hatten die Obedience Deutsche Meisterschaft des PSK ganz in unserer Nähe dieses Mal, in Knittlingen bei Pforzheim. Eine interessante Veranstaltung bei der man einmal wieder Hundeführer sieht, die sehr viel Zeit damit zubringen um ihre Hunde zu trainieren.
Teilnehmen dürfen alle dem PSK angehörenden Rassen:
Zwergpinscher, Affenpinscher, Deutsche Pinscher, Zwergschnauzer, Mittelschnauzer, Riesenschnauzer. Außer dem Affenpinscher waren auch alle mit mindestens einem Exemplar vertreten.
We had the German PSK (Pinscher and Schnauzer Club) Obedience Championship near home this time, in Knittlingen near Pforzheim. A really interesting event where you can watch handlers who spend much time training their dogs.
There are all breeds allowed to participate which make part of the PSK:
Miniature pinscher, affenpinscher, German pinscher, miniature schnauzer, standard schnauzer and giant schnauzer. Apart from affenpinscher there was at least one of each breed.

Es werden 10 Übungen absolviert, die maximale Punktzahl pro Übung sind 10 Punkte, also wenn man richtig gut ist, hat man 100 Punkte erreicht, was natürlich außerordentlich schwierig ist. Die Schwierigkeit steigert sich von Stufe zu Stufe und auch wenn nicht alles so geklappt hat wie es sich Einige vorgestellt haben - Respekt vor dieser Leistung und für das Engagement für den Hundesport!
There are 10 criteria, maximum number of points are 10 for each, so you can get up to 100 points if you excel which is really difficult. Complexity goes up from level to level and even if it didn't work out for everyone as they expected: well done everyone for what they achieved and their dedication to dog sport!

Sehr schön, etwas zu sehen, trotzdem schade dass bei Sportveranstaltungen im Verhältnis zu den Ausstellungen sehr wenige Teilnehmer und Zuschauer sind während am gleichen Tag bei einer von vielen Schönheitsausstellungen über 60 Personen gemeldet sind. Wir hoffen, dass der Aspekt des Gebrauchshunds in Zukunft wieder mehr betont wird.
Beautiful see, however it is a pity that sports events have much less participants and audience while on the same day one of many dog show events counts with over 60 participants. We hope that the aspect of working dog will be more emphasized in the future.

Na das war ja mal wieder Zeit dass ich auch zum trainieren mitkommen durfte. Ich bin zwar auch wahnsinnig gut im Ball suchen und mit dem Ball spielen - das heißt aber nicht dass ich nicht auch THS machen könnte. Also durfte ich wieder die erste halbe Stunde über Hindernisse und Hürden laufen. Den Tunnel finde ich noch etwas seltsam - einmal bin ich einfach drauf gesprungen aber ansonsten: Aufmerksamkeit war meinerseits da und wir haben auch die Slalomstangen ganz gut bewältigt. Als mir noch draußen waren habe ich Lara, die Pinscherin angefegt aber auf dem Platz weiß ich dass das nicht gut kommt. (Ansonsten auch nicht aber das ist nicht mein Problem!)

Danach war wieder Alpha dran, der alte Angeber - der prescht schon mal gerne vorne her weil er meint dass er jetzt weiß wie es geht. Deshalb hat die Trainerin ein paar Umleitungen eingebaut - gute Idee - da müssen wir nämlich gut auf unsere Menschen aufpassen, kleiner Bruder (er ist größer aber jünger, ich war die Erste vom Wurf, das weiß ich genau!)

Und heute war ich ganz verschmust weil ich mich bedanken wollte. Auf den Schoß sitzen kommt zwar nicht so gut wenn man gerade telefoniert aber meine Emotionen müssen halt raus.

Long time I haven't been training here. I am really good at playing and searching balls - no boasting - but that doesn't mean that I couldn't also exercise in THS. So I jumped and ran over obstacles for the first half hour. The tunnel seems still strange to me -so I hopped on it instead of going through. However - there was attention and we did the slalom poles very well, too. As we had been outside I barked at Lara, a pinscher lady, but on the camp I behave quite well because I know that this is expected from me (outside too, but that isn't my problem!)

Then it was Alpha's turn,  Mr bighead bragging and boasting how fast he was, nearly dragged Claudia through the course because now he knows his stuff. So you thought - the trainer made some redirections - so you have to pay attention to your human - little brother! (I am in fact some minutes older, I was the first to be born, I know that for sure!)

And today I was so cuddly and good because I wanted to thank for the nice play and sports time. Althought, sitting in the lap of the human while telephoning isn't exactly what they have in mind - what can I do, this is how I feel!

Caval-Mari Party 2016/ Party Caval-Mari 2016

Liebe Leute, das war ja eine Überraschung. Haben mir meine Menschen vorher gar nichts erzählt. Ich habe wieder eine Überraschungsparty mit vielen Gästen gehabt - alles meine Kinder und ihre Menschen. Der allererste - Banaak-Sam - hat gleich die volle und heftige Begrüßung von mir und Alpha und Aurora abbekommen. Der wurde mal so richtig in die Mangel genommen damit er gleich weiß dass er immer noch der Kleinste ist und wir hier das Sagen haben. Auch die beiden Brüder Balzak-Aiko und Balik-Boomer sind dann gekommen. Zu dritt haben die drei Jüngsten ein ganz schönes Bellkonzert hingelegt. Sie haben sich toll entwickelt und ich bin froh dass sie so nette Familien haben. Ehrlich gesagt, das wäre mir auf die Dauer doch zu viel geworden, ich kann ja nicht alle Kids bei mir haben. Aurora und Alpha sind schon anstrengend genug! Die zweitgeborenen sind schon fast so groß wie die As und selbstbewusst und frech natürlich auch.
Hey people, this was really a surprise. My humans didn't tell me that before. I had a surprise party with many guests - all of them my kids and their humans. The very first - Banaak-Sam - got the full amount of rough greeting from me, Aurora and Alpha. He was quite rund down so he knows he still is the youngest and it is us who are in command. His two brother Balzak-Aiko and Balik-Boomer came as well. They made quite a barking concert. They have developped beautifully and I am so glad that they have found such nice families. To be sincere, in the end this would have become stressful and I can't have all my kids living with me. Aurora and Alpha are already some work! The second borns are nearly as tall as the As and of course self-confident and cheeky.
Dann kamen auch noch Acrux-Hugo und Alula. Wir haben einen kleinen Spaziergang gemacht, schau mal auf den Fotos. Danach gemeinsames Essen und Spiel. Der Riesenkong Extreme den wir bekommen haben, wurde gleich mal im Pool versenkt, aber Florian und Celina haben ihn mit vereinten Kräften wieder herausgefischt und sogar noch einen zweiten, kleineren gefunden, den wir schon seit geraumer Zeit vermissen.

Also Acrux-Hugo and Alula were there. We made a little walk, have a look at the pictures. After that lunch and play. The giant kong extreme immediately fell into the pool and Florian and Celina came to rescue it, even found a smaller one we hadn't seen in ages.

Joghurt Eis - Frozen Yoghurt

Hundeeis haben wir ja  kürzlich schon ausprobiert. Da es nur in einer dünnen Plastikfolie ist, mussten wir diese entfernen und der Inhalt war mit zwei Bissen weg. Also mal niedrige Joghurtbecher einfrieren, mal sehen wie das klappt.
Sissi ist eine Expertin und leckt schön aus dem Becher, Aurora neigt zur brutalen Methode und knabbert den Becher ab um sich  dann den Inhalt mit wenigen Bissen einzuverleiben. Alpha wollte auch erst die Gewaltmethode anwenden, ließ sich aber dann zum Auslecken überreden.
We tried dog ice cream some time ago. Since it is only in a thin plastic foil, we had to remove that and the content was eaten in one second. So we tried yoghurt cups and froze them.
Sissi is the expert and licks from the cup. Aurora goes for the more rough method and chews on the cup in order to get to the inner side. Alpha wanted to try Aurora's method too, but got persuaded to try the more gentle Sissi one.

Hallo Leute, ich, Euer Alpha, darf seit dieser Woche ja wieder gemeinsam mit den Mädels Gassi gehen. Die sind natürlich wieder hinter ihrem blöden Ball her gejagt während ich alles immer umrundet und meine Schwester Aurora zum Rennen und Spielen aufgefordert habe. Ich nehme da immer Anlauf und schieße dann haarscharf an ihr vorbei oder springe auch mal über sie drüber - Training ist alles! Wenn sie keine Lust hat, knurrt sie mich blöd an. Zum Beispiel wenn sie lieber den Ball suchen und mit ihm spielen will. Ging auch eine ganze Zeitlang gut, meine Mama hat wieder den totalen Ballrausch gekriegt. War wohl auch die letzte, die ihn dann noch zum Bach getragen hat und seither ist er verschwunden. Nach den verzweifelten Versuchen der Weiber, ihn wieder zu finden, sind wir schließlich ohne Ball nach Hause gegangen. Ist ja nicht das erste Mal, sind auch schon einige woanders unterwegs und einer im Baum gelandet. 

Hey guys, I am Alpha and I am allowed again to do walks together with the girls. Of course they were chasing their stupid ball while I ran around and invited my sister Aurora for playing and running. I take a bit of a leap and then pass rapidly and very closely or I jump over her - exercise, you know! If she doesn't want to play with me, she growls at me. For example when she rather wants to play with the ball. This went well for some time, my mother was high on ball drug again. Was also the last to get it and bring it to the little creek, then it got lost. After desperate attempts to retrieve it, we went home without the ball. Not the first time, there are others around and one high up in a tree.-

Kürzlich waren wir wieder sportlich unterwegs. Nachdem letztes Mal schon Cebi, der Zwergpinscher, dabei war, kam auch noch Hope dazu, die freundliche Mittelschnauzerhündin von unserer Ortsgruppe.
The other day we had been very sporty again. After already Cebi, a mini pinscher, exercised with us, there was also Hope, a really friendly standard schnauzer female from our local group.
Cebi und Alpha haben sich immer gegenseitig fixiert und sogar angebellt (Cebi) und sein Frauchen hat uns dann auch erzählt warum. Das ging auf die Karfreitagswanderung zurück. Da war Cebi mal wieder sehr vorlaut unterwegs und wurde dann von Alpha und Aurora rund gemacht. Er ist schließlich in den Wald zurück und kam erst wieder mit, als ihn sein Frauchen geholt hat, mit Schaum vor dem Mund. Also eine bleibende Erinnerung an die zwei, und nicht allzu positiv.
Cebi and Alpha always fixated each other and even barked (Cebi) and his human also told me why. This was due to our good friday hike. Cebi had been quite cheeky again and then Alpha and Aurora dressed him down a bit. He fled to the forest and only came back with her, some foam in front of his mouth. Quite a souvenir for them, but not really positive.
Mit Hope hingegen, gab es gar keine Probleme und sie hat ihren Parcours ganz toll gemeistert. Allen hat es Spaß gemacht, wobei ich den Eindruck hatte, dass wir am Anfang mehr Leute waren als zu Ende. Einer hatte sich bereits mit seinem Herrchen aus dem Staub gemacht. Seltsam. Naja, vielleicht hing das mal wieder mit dem Plan zusammen. Letztes Mal hat er gesagt, dass er gut findet, dass der Plan für den Aufbau nicht so früh per Whatsapp kam (???), dieses Mal dass er ihn nicht lesen konnte.
Und dann noch dass die Zeit für das Aufbauen und Abbauen von der Trainingszeit abgeht. Das heißt für ihn ja nicht weil er zum Abbauen nicht mehr da war..
Hope, on the other hand, was a real sweetie and made the course great. Everyone had fun, while I have the impression that we were more people in the beginning. One decamped before the ending. Strange. Well, maybe it was the fault of the plan. Last time he said that it is good, we don't get the info so early for the setting (???), this time he said that he couldn't read it. And that the time for setting up the ostacles and putting them away again, takes time off the exercise. At least this time not for him because when we put everything back he wasn't there any more.

Über beide Plätze verteilt haben wir einen spontanen Lauf an Stangen vorbei und über Hürden und einen kleinen Hindernisparcours gemacht. Anton war auch wieder da, voll konzentriert, Nero leider nicht.
We did a great run over two camps, on-the-go directions and obstacles. Anton was here again, fully concentrated, Nero not, unfortunately.

THS-Hindernislauf/ THS-Obstacle Run

Ich weiß nicht ob ich es schon erwähnte, aber wir planen demnächst mal bei einem Turnier mitzumachen. Obwohl wir immer fleißig üben, gibt es Skeptiker die nicht so ganz auf dem Laufenden sind:
I don't know if I mentioned it already but we are planning to partcipate in a tournament soon. Although we do a lot of exercise, there are skeptics who aren't really up to date.

You only did the obstacle run once 

Na ja, wir üben mindestens zwei Mal in der Woche, seit letztem Jahr, an verschiedenen Orten. Hat man von der Terrasse aus vielleicht nicht sehen können.  Vor allem Hindernisse - das machen wir am liebsten - aber auch Hürden- und Slalomlauf. Hindernislauf ist eine der Einsteigerdisziplinen und man braucht dafür auch keine BH-Prüfung.  außerdem: dabei sein ist alles, wir freuen uns auf den Spaß und nette Leute.
Oh well, we exercise at least twice a week, since last year, and in different places. Maybe this couldn't be seen sitting on the deck. Especially obstacles - they are our favorite - but also the hurdle run and slalom. Obstacle run is for beginners and we don't need the companion dog exam to participate. Furthermore - the fun is in taking part and we are looking forward to lots of fun and nice people.

Damit man sich jetzt den kompletten Hindernislauf vorstellen kann, hier die Beschreibung:
Auf einer 75 Meter langen Strecke muss der Hund 8 Hindernisse überwinden während der Hundehalter neben ihm her läuft (der Hundehalter muss nicht über die Hindernisse). Die Zeit wird ab einem der Eingangstore ( 2 m von dem ersten Hindernis entfernt) gestoppt, bis zum Zieltor (2 m vom letzten Hindernis entfernt). Es zählt die Zeit des letzten Eintreffenden im Ziel (normalerweise nicht der Hund).  Für umlaufene Hindernisse und herunter geworfene Stangen gibt es Fehlerpunkte.
Here is a description of the complete obstacle run:
On a distance of 75 m, the dog has to overcome 8 obstacles while the dog handler runs beside him (the dog handler doesn't have to overcome the obstacles, just run on the ground on the right side of the dog). Time is measured from start to goal, the last arriving is relevant (usually not the dog). There are penalty points for leaving out obstacles or throwing down the poles.
